Our main electronics project involves the LCD dislay in the center console of the Subaru legacy. It was custom developed for the time, but now there are no more replacements or new parts available. All the new builds used to be restricted to using modern LCD’s, classic gauges instead of the display or even “homemade” solutions with arduino etc..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to tackle this by developing our custom display for this purpose. It is made to look 100% like the original, but still include important features in modern day rally cars like CAN bus, analog inputs for sensors, button inputs, 2 auxilary outputs. There is also a RS232 port for compatibility with older ECU’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have already made this work with multiple modern ECUs, old pectels and also the GEMS diff controller on the impreza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The display, hardware and software is developed in house with attention for harsh motorsport envionments like temperature, vibration, interference, unstable battery voltages etc. It stays completely on while cranking the engine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
